Mark O. Roberts III, Original Founder of Communications Made Easy

Mark has been consulting, designing and building Web solutions for businesses and organizations for 10 years.

With a business background and an entrepreneurial mindset, he has long recognized the important role that the Internet would play in today’s changing marketplace.  In 1998, during the "dot-com boom", Mark began teaching himself how to build Web sites for his then employer while also attending graduate school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

After graduating with a Masters in Business Administration, Mark moved to Kansas City and began a full-time career with the largest publicly-traded global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company.

As a consultant in their telecommunications and high-tech division, Mark was responsible for delivering software solutions for several of the company’s Fortune 500 clients, including the development of an exceptionally well-received text messaging gateway.

Some might call Mark a “serial entrepreneur”.  He has a reputation for knowing what will work and bringing his ideas to fruition, including an Eastern Illinois-based DJ company Audio Connections, BeadsonParade.com / GameDayBeads.com (which was sold in 2007), Dockseeker.com, and the Kira-Mar Waterfront Villas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (consistently rated as the #1 Fort Lauderdale hotel on TripAdvisor.com).

In 2003, Mark joined Standard Investment Co. and currently serves as Executive Vice President of the company.  Part of his responsibilities include heading up their Web consulting and services division, GoWeb1.com.

Mark has been instrumental in developing the design of Standard Mutual Insurance Company's agency and intranet portal.  He works closely with Standard Mutual's Information Technology Department to design, build and deliver solutions that benefit the insured, agent and company.

In his role with GoWeb1.com, Mark is able to work with an array of businesses and organizations to help them design, build, implement and market Web solutions that not only incorporate best practices – but also provide maximum return on their investment.

Currently living in Springfield, Illinois, Mark is married with two children.  He was also recently recognized as one of the area’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Springfield Business Journal.

Mark serves on several local Boards of Directors and is actively involved in associations, clubs and not-for-profit organizations throughout the Springfield community, including:

Board Member of the Illinois Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross
 Board Member of Leadership Springfield
Past Board Member of the MacArthur Boulevard Merchant Association
 Member of the Young Philanthropist
Member of Young Springfield Professional Network
 Graduate of Leadership Springfield
Member of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce
Volunteer for the American Red Cross

When Mark is not working and in front of his laptop he enjoys spending his leisure time with his family and friends boating, fishing, scuba diving, hiking, wake-boarding and snow-boarding.

Mark has been passionate about bringing Alerts Made Easy™ to life because he has so often wished for an integrated solution himself.  Whether you are running one company or several, having the right tools in place can make the work flow easier and communications smoother.  Alerts Made Easy™ was designed to do exactly that.

Michelle possesses a master's degree in Education and Computer Technology from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and a bachelor's degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.  She is creator and author of Market Your Mission™ book series.

Given her accomplishments, people are often surprised to learn that Michelle is actually profoundly Deaf.  After suffering total hearing loss during her first pregnancy and giving birth to a Deaf child, Michelle began searching for a solution that would help her infant daughter lead a more integrated life.

Research led her to a technology known as cochlear implantation, the use of a small electronic device that translates sound from the environment into impulses that the brain is able interpret.  Both Michelle and her daughter underwent the procedure with excellent results.

In 2005, Michelle founded the Cochlear Implant Awareness Foundation (
www.ciafonline.org), a nonprofit organization which exists to provide information, resources and financial assistance for individuals who can overcome deafness through utilization of cochlear implant technology.

Michelle also maintains active involvement in her community. She is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce and most recently began serving on the Rochester Education Foundation board.

She resides in Springfield, IL with her husband and two daughters.

As a small business owner herself, Michelle understands the value of time, so ensuring that solutions offered through Alerts Made Easy™ are always powerful, creative and effective has been a top personal priority.
